Nikon Z6 II body
The Z 6II builds on the success of the Z 6. In addition to its robustness and easy operation, it offers the possibility of recording professional-quality film sequences. Added to this is her photographic ability. The camera is dust and drip-resistant, making it suitable for continuous shooting even under adverse conditions. Thanks to the new ability to freely choose the direction of rotation of the focusing ring, users can focus manually in the usual way.
The camera can output videos for the FX and DX image formats in 4K/UHD and Full HD. Meanwhile, the HLG recording format records more details, a larger dynamic range and higher contrast. This makes post-processing largely unnecessary. The improvements to Eye AF and Animal Detection AF ensure more precise focus on subjects even when shooting video.
These AF functions also ensure excellent results when taking photos and keep pace with the increased speed and performance of the camera. The Z 6II supports continuous shooting at 14 frames/s and a higher maximum number of shots: 200 JPEGs or 124 images losslessly compressed in 12-bit RAW format in a series of shots.
The Z 6II is aimed at users who want to capture cinema-quality movies as well as photos in a compact system. The camera is ideal for professional video production or, for example, wedding photography, where maneuverability, flexibility and uncompromising imaging performance are essential.
Nikon Z bayonet
The Nikon Z bayonet is used in both cameras, through which light also falls on the outermost corners of the image sensor. Combined with the growing selection of NIKKOR Z lenses or the over 300 compatible F-mount NIKKOR lenses that can be attached to the FTZ mount adapter, Nikon’s tradition of optical excellence and innovation reaches unprecedented new heights.
Creative in any light
The Z bayonet with its large diameter and the large full-frame sensor with 24.5 MP ensure low-noise images with the highest level of detail across the exceptionally large ISO range. With a lens aperture of 1:2, the “autofocus with low light” now works up to a light value of -6 EV.
So much faster
Photos are recorded at approx. 14 frames/s with full autofocus tracking and adjustment of the automatic exposure. Up to 200 JPEGs or 124 losslessly compressed 12-bit RAW images are possible in a series of shots.
Two EXPEED processors
Two processors double the available performance – from autofocus to buffer capacity. The implementation is silky smooth, both when filming and when taking photos.
Two memory card slots
Adaptation to different workflows is possible without any problems. One compartment accepts UHS-II SD cards and the other compartment accepts XQD or state-of-the-art ultra-fast CFexpress cards.
Multimedia powerhouse
Sharper, clearer footage with greater dynamic range. Eye AF and Animal Detection AF are available when filming. And film recordings can be output to external devices if necessary.
Robust
The extremely stable and lightweight construction of this camera is made of magnesium alloy. The camera is easy to carry and robust enough to be used anywhere. It is fully sealed to protect against dust, dirt and moisture.
NIKKOR Z
Achieve cinematic depth of field with the wide range of fast-focusing, fast and compact NIKKOR Z lenses.
The versatility of the Z system
External flash units can also be used at high frame rates of up to 14 frames/s. The bayonet adapter FTZ (optional) ensures compatibility with over 300 NIKKOR lenses with F bayonet.
SnapBridge
With the continuously developed Nikon app SnapBridge, the camera’s firmware can be updated via a smart device.
Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm 1:4 S
Find the perfect perspective and capture it. The compact NIKKOR Z 24-70mm 1:4 S zoom lens offers perfect full-frame performance. Whether you take photos or videos with your Nikon Z camera, you capture them with an incredibly high level of detail. And right into the corners of the picture.
Nikon FTZ bayonet adapter
With the bayonet adapter FTZ you can fully exploit the potential of your lenses with an F bayonet connection – be it for photography or videography. There is no loss in imaging performance whatsoever.
With NIKKOR lenses without image stabilization (VR), you can even achieve a new level of sharpness. You can use automatic exposure control with hundreds of F-bayonet lenses. And F-bayonet lenses with integrated AF drive retain full AF compatibility.
