. It offers a truly unique photographic experience thanks to the CFV II 50C’s tilting screen, which enables the classic V-system shooting style at waist level. With the 907X body, attached to the CFV II 50C, photographers have comprehensive access to high-quality XCD lenses with auto-focus and auto-exposure. Together with the XH adapter, all HC/HCD lenses can be used on the 907X. With an active electronic shutter and XV or XPan adapters, the use of V-system and XPan lenses is also possible. Additionally, the 907X housing allows the use of a range of third-party lenses and adapters, also with active electronic shutter.
Reminiscent of the classic design of the V-System film magazines, the modern CFV II 50C also works as a standalone digital back. Compatible with most Hasselblad V system cameras produced from 1957 onwards, the CFV II 50C digital back can also be used on technical and view cameras from third-party manufacturers.

907X
As Hasselblad’s smallest medium format body to date, it is particularly light, slim at just 206 grams and has been specially designed for use with the CFV II 50C to create a particularly compact photo camera. The combination of 907X and CFV II 50C enables shooting with a range of Hasselblad lenses, including all XCD, HC/HCD, XPan and V-system lenses via adapters.
CFV II 50C
The completely renewed digital back CFV II 50C offers a first-class 50 megapixel CMOS sensor, which has been individually calibrated for optimal performance and delivers exceptional color depth, as well as a dynamic range of 14 stops and the simultaneous ability to output images as full-resolution JPEG. The integrated Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) delivers outstanding, natural colors that almost match the visual perception. Designed to be more ergonomic and compact than its predecessor, the CFV II 50C offers a tilting touchscreen and an internal battery slot. As a standalone back, it is compatible with the most common V-system cameras and can be combined with the 907X housing for even more creative possibilities.
Free combination to create your own system
The digital back CFV II 50C can, in addition to more recent housings, also be used with most Hasselblad V system cameras that were produced from 1957 onwards. This means that analogue and digital can be used to create the right combination for every shoot. In combination with the 907X camera body, photographers have access to all XCD lenses with autofocus and automatic exposure. An innovation on previous CFV models, which were rather limited in terms of wide-angle options, the CFV II 50C with the 907X body allows first-class access to the wide-angle lenses XCD 21 and 30. This combination is reminiscent of the Hasselblad SWC, but with interchangeable lenses. All XCD, HC/HCD, XPan and V-system lenses can be used when using the XH, XV or XPan adapters. To further expand the range of lenses, the 907X offers compatibility with a range of third-party lenses and adapters.
Tend. Touch. Enlarge. Cancel.
The CFV II 50C’s modern, tilting touchscreen offers easy two-finger operation and one-swipe image browsing. The higher refresh rate of 60 frames per second makes the live view display on the screen even smoother. Thanks to the high-resolution screen, improved live view and focus peaking, the sharpness can be adjusted even more precisely. This is particularly advantageous with V-system cameras.
Ideally connected in the studio and on the go
The CFV II 50C is also supported by the in-house Phocus software and offers the best options for post-processing, including lens correction for most V-system lenses. The USB-C port provides seamless connection to a computer, iPad or iPhone, and built-in Wi-Fi makes connecting to an iPad or iPhone easy. This allows you to simplify workflows, perform tethered recordings and export images. Weatherproof dual SD card slots ensure sufficient available storage space or can alternatively be used to create a backup copy directly while recording. The internal battery can also be charged via the USB-C port.
A design – made to last
With the CFV II 50C, Hasselblad celebrates its design concept. A timelessly classic look offers similar dimensions to a traditional V-System film magazine. Together with the smallest medium format body manufactured by Hasselblad, the 907X, we introduce a thoroughly compact package. The combination of modern technology with classic aesthetics is reminiscent of the SWC camera. The CFV II 50C with the 907X confirms Hasselblad’s history and renowned image quality.
See the world from a different perspective
The combination of the CFV II 50C digital back and 907X camera body provides a unique photographic experience, including the classic V-system shooting style at waist level.
