Fujifilm XF 100-400mm 1:4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR

The FUJIFILM FUJINON lens XF100-400F4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a super telephoto zoom lens with a focal length range of 152-609mm, equivalent to the 35mm format. The optical design with 21 elements in 14 groups includes 5 ED lenses and a Super ED lens that minimizes chromatic aberration commonly found in telephoto lenses. The result is the highest image quality in its class. The integrated image stabilization over five aperture stops and a weight of less than 1.4 kg ensure sharp free-hand shots. The twin linear motor allows for quick focusing, making this lens perfect for shooting fast-moving objects including motorsports and aviation. The lens is splash-proof, dust-proof and cold-resistant down to -10°C. This makes it ideal for a variety of shooting situations in bad weather and difficult climatic conditions. The fluorine coating on the front lens repels water and dirt. At the same time, it increases protection against scratches.

The maximum magnification of 0.19x makes macro shots possible in the telephoto range. 

The 5.0 exposure stop image stabilizer – one of the best in a super telephoto zoom lens – ensures sharp, shake-free shots, even at a focal length of 609mm (35mm equivalent). If panning of the camera is also detected, the lens automatically only compensates for vertical vibrations.

This lens is compatible with the XF1.4X TC WR teleconverter. In conjunction with the teleconverter, the focal length of the lens is extended to 140-560mm (F6.3-8) or 213-853mm (equivalent to 35mm). The phase detection autofocus is retained – even with aperture F8.
