Internal focusing guarantees extremely fast autofocus. By reducing the weight of the focus lens and using the triple linear motor at 120° intervals around the optical axis, extremely fast and quiet autofocus is achieved. Faster autofocus is available when the lens is used with an X camera with phase detection AF. In combination with the almost silent shutter, you can take photos without being noticed even in quiet places. Autofocus uses a signal that comes directly from the image sensor. This results in extremely precise focusing. The lens is ideal for macro photography as the shortest focusing distance across the entire focal length range is just 1 meter.
